II. Exhibition Overview

The Russian International Tire and Rubber Exhibition (TIRES & RUBBER) is organized by EXPOCENTRE AO, a renowned Russian exhibition organizer, and is supported by such institutions as the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Union of Chemists of Russia, the Association for Technical and Economic Research of the Russian Ministry of Chemical Industry, and the Chimvest Science and Technology Center.

The Russian International Tire and Rubber Exhibition is one of the largest specialized trade shows in Russia and the CIS region, and the only exhibition in the area dedicated to tire and rubber manufacturing and trade. It is highly professional and enjoys broad regional reach. Held annually, the 2025 edition will mark its 27th iteration. In 2025, the event is expected to attract more than 298 exhibitors across a display space of 15,000 square meters, drawing over 17,000 industry professionals.

Market Position: It is the only specialized trade fair in Russia and the CIS region, with a global reach, and is renowned as “Eastern Europe’s No. 1 Tire Exhibition.”

III. Market Background

Russia is a major global economy, with its GDP ranking eighth worldwide. Experts estimate that the Russian tire aftermarket is valued at approximately €1.3 billion, and it is projected to grow to €2.6 billion in the coming years. Premium‑grade tires account for roughly 60% of market sales. Michelin, Continental, and Pirelli have all established wholly owned or joint‑venture manufacturing facilities in Russia, while Michelin, Pirelli, Goodyear, and other brands have also set up retail networks across the country. “Amzel–FereteshTeyn” and “Sibur–Russian Tires” are two large domestic tire manufacturers in Russia.

The Russian tire industry shares many similarities with the Chinese market. The products of the world’s three leading tire manufacturers—Bridgestone, Michelin, and Goodyear—are significantly more expensive than Russian-made tires. Russian tires are priced lower, slightly below Chinese counterparts, but their quality is also somewhat inferior. Chinese companies engaged in international contracting have entered the Russian construction‑contracting sector and achieved notable results, demonstrating strong performance across sectors such as energy, mineral resource development, forestry, trade, light industry, home appliances, telecommunications, construction, services, and real estate development. With the stabilization of Russia’s economic policies and business environment, the prospects for Chinese enterprises operating in Russia remain promising.

3. Complete sets of equipment, stand-alone machines, molds, and related technologies for the manufacture and testing of rubber products; tire retreading, repair, and recycling technologies.
