II. Exhibit Scope
Products and product packaging suitable for direct sale in supermarkets, department stores, chain stores, and discount retailers. Products intended for private-label manufacturing and supply to major European supermarket chains. Specifically includes:

1. Seasonings and sauces: soy sauce, kimchi, olives, etc.; spreads such as honey, jam, and peanut butter.
2. Canned foods: fruit cans, vegetable cans, meat cans, and seafood cans
3. Candy and Snacks: A variety of candies, waffles, chocolates, nuts, potato chips, protein bars, and other high‑protein or low‑sugar snacks, as well as nutritional supplements.
4. Pasta: spaghetti, cereals, oatmeal, etc.
5. Pet Food and Care Products: Senior‑friendly pet diets, treats, eco‑friendly chews, supplements, as well as training treats and toys for dogs, cats, and other pets.

1. Cleaning supplies: wet wipes, cloths, disinfectant, laundry detergent pods, color‑catcher sheets, multi‑purpose kitchen cleaner, and more.
2. Paper products and disposable items: toilet paper, paper trays, paper plates, etc.; trash bags, food‑storage bags, plastic wrap, disposable tableware, aluminum foil products, and the like.
3. Kitchen utensils: scouring pads, cleaning sponges, brush gloves, etc.; storage boxes, storage bins, non-woven bags, etc.
4. Outdoor & Gardening Supplies: barbecue grills, charcoal, fire starters, outdoor lighting, and more.
5. Party & Holiday Supplies: Christmas headpieces, decorative balloons, lights, ornaments, and small gifts, among others.

1. Infant care, women’s care, adult care
Diapers, infant skin care products, incontinence products, sanitary napkins, wet wipes, and more.
2. Beauty care products and cosmetics
Hair care: shampoos, conditioners, hair growth and hair coloring products; combs, hair dryers, curling irons, and more.
Skincare: facial cleansers, face masks, lotions, creams, body washes, bath sponges, and more.
Beauty and makeup: razors, shaving cream, hair removal products, antiperspirants, etc.; color cosmetics; makeup cotton pads, cotton balls, cotton swabs, and more.
Personal care: oral care products such as toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrushes, and dental floss, as well as eye care and lip care products.
III. Market Overview
According to NielsenIQ data, the European private-label market continues to grow. Third-quarter 2024 figures show that, across 17 European countries, private-label market share rose to 38.7%, up 0.2 percentage points from the third quarter of 2023. Among these countries, private-label share increased significantly in 11 markets. Switzerland maintained the highest share at 52.4%, while Spain and Portugal recorded the most pronounced gains, with increases of 1.2% and 0.8%, respectively. By product category, ambient foods, confectionery and snacks, and perishable and frozen foods accounted for the three largest shares of private‑label value, averaging 47.4% and totaling €252 billion—up €14 billion year over year.
IV. Past Editions Overview
Founded in 1986, it is the world’s largest and most highly attended international private-label trade show, encompassing both private-label and supermarket exhibitions as well as an international OEM/ODM trade fair. The Private Label Show, held annually in Chicago in November, is a trade show of its kind organized by PLMA.
The exhibition is international in scope, attracting 3,154 exhibitors from 75 countries and regions, including major multinational corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, across a wide range of product categories—2,173 of whom are food exhibitors and 981 are non-food exhibitors. With 14 pavilions and a total net exhibition space of 45,000 square meters, the event boasts a renewal rate of 90%.
The exhibition attracts more than 19,000 retailers and trade professionals from 125 countries each year, offering them an extensive range of products—from entry-level to premium—across multiple categories. Buyers come from global chains, supermarkets, shopping malls, discount stores, drugstores, hypermarkets, convenience stores, importers, wholesalers, and more. Renowned international supermarket and department store chains conduct on-site negotiations, including Carrefour, Auchan, Leclerc, Tesco, and others.
