II. Exhibition Overview

THAIFEX-HOREC Asia is a specialized hospitality‑industry trade show that has evolved from the highly respected Asia World Food Expo (THAIFEX-Anuga Asia). Focused on hotel supplies and equipment, it offers a clearer definition of its target markets and customer base. The second edition of THAIFEX-HOREC Asia was held from March 5 to 7, 2025, at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, delivering results that exceeded expectations. With an exhibition space of 27,000 square meters, the event attracted 466 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions—up 28% year over year, including 295 international exhibitors—and drew 19,454 buyers from 87 countries and regions, a 23% increase compared with the previous year. Additionally, 573 trade delegations and invited buyers from 25 countries participated, resulting in a total of 2,408 business meetings, with scheduled appointments up 47% year over year. A total of 189 media representatives covered the event, generating 848 news articles, while exhibitors achieved combined exposure exceeding 2.78 million impressions and product exposure reaching 870,000 impressions. Total transaction value reached US$99.2 million.

To achieve THAIFEX–HOREC Asia’s development objectives, the organizer will leverage the over‑20‑year‑old network of local and international buyers in the foodservice and hospitality sectors cultivated by THAIFEX–Anuga Asia, while seamlessly transferring industry resources to provide exhibitors and visitors with more targeted opportunities for showcasing and networking. Key efforts will focus on directing professional buyers to the China Pavilion through the exhibition website, marketing materials, social media, print advertisements, a curated buyer database, and press conferences. Relevant B2B matchmaking events will also be centered on the China Pavilion. Meanwhile, the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce will collaborate closely with the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Thai Hotels Association, and other stakeholders to widely disseminate information—covering participating Chinese companies, their products, and booth details—to their member organizations, inviting eligible hotels and catering enterprises to visit the China Pavilion for business discussions.
