03-15
The three-day Intersolar Europe 2011 exhibition in Munich, Germany, concluded on June 10th at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.
INTERSOLAR is the world's largest professional solar exhibition and trade fair, organized by professional organizations such as the European Photovoltaic Industry Federation (ESTIF), the German Solar Industry Association (BSW), and the International Solar Energy Society (ISES). The exhibition has become Europe's largest solar technology and product trade fair, focusing on three main solar technology areas: photovoltaics (solar power generation), solar systems (hot water supply, heating, industrial heat, solar air conditioning), and solar architecture.
The booth layout is classified by photovoltaic products and solar thermal products, with photovoltaic products further subdivided into cells, modules, inverters, systems and solutions, accessories, and peripheral equipment.
This exhibition had over 5,000 participating companies. Except for Hall C1, which was not used, all other 15 halls, from A1 to A6, B1 to B6, and C2 to C4, were fully utilized, significantly increasing the overall exhibition area compared to last year. Halls A3 and B3, and those before them, showed better exhibition results. Over 20 enterprises from our province participated in the exhibition, with a total exhibition area exceeding 1,200 square meters. The exhibited products were mainly solar cells and modules, also including LED lights and inverters. Most of the business partners contacted were from Europe, with a small number from North America, Africa, and other regions.
There were many Chinese exhibitors at this exhibition, and Chinese booths could be seen everywhere. Unlike other well-known exhibitions, at least one-third of the Chinese enterprises appeared in custom-built booths. Companies generally recognized this exhibition. Exhibitors stated that the main purpose of participating in this exhibition was not only to sign orders and make deals, but more importantly, to showcase their corporate image.
