Hannover Messe in Germany is the largest international industrial exhibition to date, with a history of 69 years. Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd. has organized Shandong enterprises to participate in Hannover Messe in Germany for many consecutive years. The exhibits at the fair demonstrate high technological content and are recognized as one of the most important platforms connecting global industrial design, processing and manufacturing, technology application, and international trade. To date, it has become the "flagship exhibition in the global industrial trade field," the "barometer of world industrial trade," and the "wind vane for global industrial technology development."
On April 25, 2016, Hannover Messe in Germany grandly opened at the Hannover Exhibition Center. This exhibition attracted over 700 Chinese exhibitors, with a larger number of participating enterprises from Zhejiang, Guangdong, Tianjin, Fujian, and other regions, including more than 20 enterprises from Shandong. The Hannover Exhibition Center is the world's largest exhibition facility. This largest exhibition ground in the world boasts perfect infrastructure and state-of-the-art technical means. It is designed to accommodate an annual flow of over 26,000 exhibitors and 2.3 million visitors. The entire venue covers an area of 1 million square meters, with 27 exhibition halls, and an indoor exhibition area of 498,000 square meters. The newly completed Hall 27 is located in the southwest corner of the exhibition grounds, with an exhibition area of 31,930 square meters and a cost of 61.4 million euros. Halls 8/9, 13, and 26 all feature unique architectural styles. Other notable buildings within the exhibition grounds include: the 16,000 square meter wooden structure "EXPO Canopy"; the iconic "Hermes Tower", built in 1958 and renovated during the 2000 World Expo; and "Exponale" - Europe's largest pedestrian bridge connecting the urban highway and Hall 8. In addition to indoor exhibition space, the venue also provides 58,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition area.
The guest country of honor for this exhibition was the United States, and the Zhenghe delegation experienced first-hand the high level of security and specifications within the venue. US President Obama and German Chancellor Merkel appeared to lend their support, once again feeling the bond between the two great
figures
sweetness and underlying rivalry between them.
2016
The theme of the year's exhibition was "Integrated Industry - Discover Solutions," focusing on digital solutions for factories and energy systems, and will showcase over a hundred industrial 4.0 practical applications. German Chancellor Angela Merkel stated at the opening ceremony that industry is the engine of the German economy. The world today is in a unique period of integrating the "digital agenda" into industrial production. Industries such as machinery and automobiles generate a large amount of data, which, when processed, creates added value and gives rise to intelligent systems. These systems bring new opportunities for industrial development.
According to Zhenghe's on-site report, the exhibition halls of Hannover Messe 2016 were mainly divided into 5 sections: Industrial Automation, Digital Factory, Energy, Industrial Supply, and Research & Technology. There were over 5200 exhibitors from 75 countries and regions worldwide. Among them, more than 700 exhibitors were from China, second only to German domestic exhibitors. Many Chinese companies participating for the first time gave very high praise for the exhibition. More than half of the participating enterprises from Shandong Province had attended this exhibition multiple times, giving high evaluations of its effectiveness. They came to the exhibition not only to visit old clients but also to develop new customer resources and forge new partnerships.
The introduction of the Industry 4.0 concept at the exhibition has raised expectations for the development prospects of many strong domestic enterprises. Their vision is no longer merely "Made in China," but rather the ability to engage in dialogue with world-class industrial technology!
