The Pakistan International Building Materials Exhibition is one of the highest-level building materials exhibitions in Pakistan and has received UFI international certification. Since its first session in 2005, it has not only attracted large-scale foreign investment, but also a large number of professional trade visitors from both international and domestic Pakistan, involved in residential, construction, furniture and interior decoration industries, to visit and trade. The 2016 Pakistan Building Materials Exhibition attracted companies from many countries, including Italy, Switzerland, China, the United States, Japan, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Germany, Greece, and Turkey; the range of exhibiting companies included construction machinery, building materials, hardware tools, chemical building materials, air conditioning, doors and windows, stone products, tiles, flooring, furniture, and gardening tools.
 
A total of 261,429 professional visitors were attracted, including top architects, building materials manufacturers and traders, interior designers, engineers, and construction contractors from around the world. Visitors to previous exhibitions mainly included government agencies and decision-makers, associations and trade organizations, technical officials, engineers, architects, urban planners, scholars and scientists, interior designers, decorators and contractors, real estate agents, real estate developers and builders, equipment dealers, lessors and contractors, building materials dealers, suppliers, distributors and agents, foreign companies seeking joint ventures, landscape architects, construction managers, project managers, and contractors.

China is Pakistan's largest trading partner for goods, second largest source of imports, and second largest export destination. In the 2014/15 fiscal year, Pakistan's total goods trade amounted to US$69.865 billion, with exports of US$23.885 billion and imports of US$45.980 billion, representing year-on-year growth of 4.67%, -4.88%, and 2.01%, respectively. The trade deficit was US$22.095 billion, a year-on-year increase of 10.68%.
 
In 2015, the import and export trade volume between our province and Pakistan reached US$1.35 billion, an increase of 14.6%. Of this, exports amounted to US$1.07 billion, an increase of 22.2%, mainly tires, steel, paper and paperboard, machinery, and metal products; imports amounted to US$280 million, a decrease of 7.6%, mainly machinery, metal products, electronic products, steel, and textiles.

Zhenghe Exhibition visited Nigerian automotive technology and other industry associations to promote cooperation on the 2025 Nigeria (Lagos) China Goods Expo.

From January 3rd to 6th, 2025, representatives of Zhenghe Exhibition's overseas staff successively visited the secretariat of the Nigerian Automotive Technicians Association (NATA), the Amalgamated Union of Automobile Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON), and the Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria (MOMTAN).
