Seizing Opportunities, Leading the Future | Post-Show Notes from the 2019 Private Label Trade Show in Chicago, USA
The Zhenghe exhibition group returned last week from the 2019 Private Label Trade Show in Chicago, USA.
Against the backdrop of US-China trade relations characterized by cooperation and competition
the results of the Chinese exhibitors at the 2019 show far exceeded expectations.

The theme of the 2019 show was "Store Brands Make Things Happen." There were 54 country pavilions, with 41 Chinese exhibitors, ranking second among international exhibitors. A total of 1439 companies exhibited, 8 more than in 2018. Of these, 1048 were food companies and 391 were non-food companies, with approximately 2500 booths in total. Based on the observed foot traffic, attendance was likely higher than last year, with approximately 6000 attendees.

2019 marked the eleventh year that Zhenghe Exhibitions has organized group participation in the show.
Even against the backdrop of the US-China trade war,
our group comprised nearly 20 companies,
almost half of the total number of Chinese exhibitors.
The exhibition group consisted of roughly equal numbers of new and returning clients,
with returning clients reporting that the results were much better than expected,

and that foot traffic was even higher than in 2018.
Among the new exhibitors, half received orders on-site.
