This newspaper reported on September 22 (Reporter Kuang Xiaoxia) that today, the "Report on the Influence of the First China International Consumer Products Expo" was released. Within the monitoring period (March 15 to May 15), a total of 310 media outlets released related information, publishing 428,753 reports, with a potential reach of over 11 billion people.
During the exhibition, domestic media's overseas dissemination and overseas media reports generated a total of over 2,000 international reports, with a total readership exceeding 828 million, covering more than 84 countries and regions worldwide. In terms of domestic dissemination, the highest level of attention came from Hainan, Guangdong, and Jiangsu, followed by Zhejiang, Shandong, and Henan, and then Sichuan, Beijing, and Shanghai. The main audience is concentrated in coastal open areas.
This Consumer Expo attracted 1,505 companies and 2,628 consumer product brands from 70 countries and regions. According to statistics, the media exposure ratio of exhibitors at the Consumer Expo was 43.5%. From an industry perspective, two companies each from the cosmetics and service consumption sectors were listed. Among the listed companies, four were Chinese companies, accounting for 40%.
During the exhibition, company executives were the main interviewees for the media, attracting considerable attention. In interviews, company executives praised China's continued expansion of its opening-up; "high, new, special, and excellent" products received much attention, with media outlets vying to report on them. This not only promoted the Consumer Expo but also highlighted its characteristics of showcasing exquisite products and facilitating open exchanges. Reports on exhibition products mainly consisted of text and image reports and in-depth reports. Highly-regarded exhibits included an 88-carat black diamond and a 188 million yuan "Eye of Time" diamond necklace.
