06-10
To seize the window of opportunity for the implementation and entry into force of the RCEP agreement and leverage policy benefits such as tariff reductions in the RCEP region, supporting foreign trade enterprises in developing markets in ASEAN, Japan, South Korea, and Australia and New Zealand through online means, the Dongying Municipal Bureau of Commerce held the "2021 Dongying Export Commodity Cloud Expo (RCEP Special Session)" on June 3rd.
A total of 21 domestic foreign trade enterprises and 19 international purchasers participated in this cloud expo. Overseas purchasers came from countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and Australia. Products exhibited by participating enterprises involved three major categories: auto parts, food and agricultural products, and hardware castings.
Cai Yinsong, Deputy Director-level Investigator of the Dongying Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Guo Xinfeng, Deputy Director, attended the opening ceremony and watched the business negotiations. Cai Yinsong, Deputy Director-level Investigator, and Zheng Shixuan, Chairman of the Korea Industrial Sales Research Institute, delivered speeches. Subsequently, based on the needs of both supply and demand and on the basis of precise matching in the early stage, 85 one-on-one online negotiations were conducted between Chinese and foreign enterprises.
This cloud expo is the second cloud expo held by Dongying City in 2021. Through cloud display and cloud docking, it helps enterprises expand markets, find orders, and maintain market share, effectively alleviating the adverse effects of the continued COVID-19 epidemic on enterprises' participation in overseas exhibitions.
