04-20
The highly anticipated "Industrial Oscars," the 2023 Hannover Messe, officially opened on April 17 in Hannover, Germany. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Indonesian President Joko Widodo, the partner country of this year's fair, jointly inaugurated the event. Approximately 3000 representatives from the political, business, and economic sectors attended the opening ceremony.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning, hydrogen and fuel cells, energy management, carbon-neutral production, and Industry 4.0 are the five main themes of this year's exhibition. A series of expert meetings, forums, and events will be held during the exhibition, showcasing the latest industry trends.
Dr. Köckler, Chairman of the Managing Board of Deutsche Messe AG, stated: "This year's Hannover Messe will attract approximately 4000 exhibitors, and the audience will be even more international. China has always been an important partner of Hannover Messe, and Chinese exhibitors and visitors have shown strong interest and willingness to participate." In recent years, Chinese companies have increasingly focused on showcasing cutting-edge technologies and products, including artificial intelligence, digital ecosystems, automation, robotics, industrial internet, and 5G applications. More and more companies are expanding their booth space or building more distinctive booths, laying a solid foundation for corporate image promotion and brand building.
Statistics show that more than 730 Chinese companies participated in the exhibition, with a net exhibition area of 12,000 square meters. Well-known domestic exhibitors such as TBEA, China Mobile, Kaos COSMOPlat, Han's Laser, Donghua Chain, and Baoguang Electric made their appearances. Visitors will see a large number of high-quality domestic companies in sections such as "Automation, Power and Motion," "Digital Ecosystems," "Energy Solutions," "Innovative Technologies and Future Production," "Industrial Components," "Compressed Air & Vacuum Technology," and the "Hydrogen Fuel Cell Zone" at the exhibition.
Leveraging the world's largest international industrial exhibition – the Hannover Messe, Shandong Province has actively organized companies to participate in the exhibition as a sub-exhibition for 14 consecutive years. During the 2022 epidemic, the exhibition adopted a remote participation model of "offline display + online negotiation," playing a positive role in helping Shandong's mechanical and electrical enterprises secure orders and expand markets.
In 2023, the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce hosted and Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd. undertook the Hannover Messe and the China Shandong Mechanical and Electrical Products (Germany) Exhibition. A total of 49 companies, including Shandong Industrial Technology Research Institute and Qingdao AUCMA, participated in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of 450 square meters, showcasing high-quality products in intelligent machinery, industrial motors, laser equipment, energy equipment, and logistics equipment. The exhibition site was filled with visitors; the reunion of old and new customers stimulated and released the enthusiasm for on-site discussions.
