Exhibition Introduction ：

The Bogota Industrial Exhibition, started in 1954, is held biennially and organized by CORFERIAS, the largest exhibition company in Colombia. As the largest and longest-running industrial exhibition in Colombia, its influence covers the entire South American region. In 2018, the Bogota Industrial Exhibition attracted 638 exhibitors, covering an area of 61,418 square meters, with 53,442 professional visitors from nearly 20 countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Bogota, Cuba, Spain, Denmark, the United States, Bolivia, France, Italy, the Netherlands, China, Switzerland, and Venezuela. According to official statistics, 87% of exhibitors and 90% of visitors gave positive feedback on the exhibition, with exhibitors particularly satisfied with the high quality of professional visitors.

In recent years, the South American market has continued to heat up. With economic development, Colombia's economic structure has also undergone tremendous changes. The agricultural sector, including forestry, fishing, and hunting, has decreased from 39.6% to 17.4% of GDP, while the industrial sector (including mining, construction, gas, water, electricity, and manufacturing) has increased from 16.8% to 34.8%, mainly importing machinery, chemical products, textiles, and metal materials. According to statistics from the Colombian Customs and Tax Bureau, from January to June 2011, the total bilateral trade volume between Colombia and China reached US\$4.66 billion, an increase of 31.9%. Among them, Colombia imported US\$3.47 billion from China, an increase of 57.5%, accounting for 13.4% of Colombia's total imports. China is Colombia's second largest import source and second largest export market.
