Exhibition Date: November 6-9, 2018 (Tuesday to Friday)
Exhibition Overview:
The Lagos International Trade Fair started in 1981 and has been held annually since 1986, for 30 consecutive sessions. The exhibition is organized by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supported by the Nigerian Federal Government and the Lagos State Government. Nearly 20 countries from Africa, Europe, America, and Asia participate, with visitors mainly from ECOWAS countries. Currently, it is the largest in West Africa in terms of scale and influence, serving as an important platform for economic and trade cooperation and exchange in Africa.
Since 2002, Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd. has successfully organized Chinese enterprises to participate in the exhibition for many consecutive years. Starting in 2007, a China Pavilion was established, with unified organization, booth arrangement, and promotion, achieving excellent results. The China Pavilion has been awarded the "Largest Foreign Exhibitor" and "Best Foreign Exhibitor Organizer" plaques by the organizer for many years. To help enterprises further explore the African market, Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd. will continue to organize the 2018 Nigeria (Lagos) China Commodities Fair, showcasing and promoting Chinese goods in the Lagos International Trade Fair as a "show-within-a-show".

Review of Previous China Exhibitions
Chinese exhibitors came from more than a dozen provinces and cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Hebei, Henan, and Anhui, with an exhibition area of 4000 square meters. The "China Pavilion" was divided into four major areas: Electromechanical and Vehicle Exhibition Area, Building Materials Exhibition Area, Hardware Exhibition Area, and Home Appliances and Daily Necessities Exhibition Area, showcasing high-quality Chinese products and the image of excellent Chinese enterprises.
According to incomplete statistics, nearly 30,000 visitors attended the China Pavilion during the exhibition, including over 9,000 professional buyers. Exhibitors generally believe that the Nigerian market has huge potential and needs further development, and some participating enterprises have already established branches or offices in Lagos.
Numerous guests from units such as the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos, the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, and the China-Nigeria Business & Trade Enterprises Association visited the China Pavilion during the exhibition and had enthusiastic exchanges with participating enterprises. The exhibition also received significant media attention, with 27 media outlets including NTA2, NTA10 TV, Voice of Nigeria Radio, China Central Television, Xinhua News Agency, China Radio International, "Punch", "The Guardian", "Business Day", "The Sun", "The Nation", "Saturday Newswatch", and "NAN" providing follow-up reports on the "China Pavilion".
Nigeria Market Brief
◆ Population of 180 million, the most populous country in Africa, with a huge consumer market.
◆ OPEC member country, ranking first in Africa in oil reserves and production, and one of the world's top five liquefied natural gas exporters. Possesses strong payment capability and market purchasing power.
◆ Africa's largest economy and West Africa's largest market, leading regional integration. The World Bank and other authoritative economic assessment agencies are optimistic about its economic development, making it the right time to enter the Nigerian market.
◆ Rich in agricultural, forestry, and mineral resources, but with underdeveloped infrastructure and a weak manufacturing base. The government is improving infrastructure, and high-quality, affordably priced Chinese goods are very popular locally. Meanwhile, the Nigerian government encourages Chinese enterprises to import Nigerian agricultural, forestry, and mineral products.
◆ Maritime trade accounts for nearly 70% of West Africa's total trade. 80% of Nigeria's commercial activities are concentrated in Lagos. As Nigeria's economic, financial, industrial, and logistics center, Lagos is the best stepping stone for enterprises to enter the West African market.
