Exhibition Overview:

The FIBO Global Fitness, Bodybuilding and Wellness Exhibition (FIBO) is hosted by Reed Exhibitions Germany, held annually, and has been successfully held for 37 editions. FIBO is currently the world's largest professional exhibition for fitness equipment and health products. The target audience for this exhibition includes fitness clubs, fitness product retailers, multi-functional sports centers, fitness enthusiasts, health centers, wellness hotels, Spa and wellness centers, tanning salons, sports rehabilitation centers, public sports venues, leisure clubs, bodybuilders, etc. It is the most ideal event for exhibitors and visitors of commercial equipment and related products.

FIBO2022, the world's largest fitness trade fair, opened its doors again, with a total of 536 exhibitors, attracting 51,270 buyers and industry professionals from 109 countries; in addition to new themes and exhibition content, FIBO2022 utilized multiple new technologies to make exhibitors' marketing more comprehensive.

"Online + Offline": Before the exhibition, exhibitors can register key promotional products on the FIBO online platform. FIBO uses a powerful data system to accurately target potential customers, allowing buyers to mark them in advance, and enabling visitors who cannot attend in person to conduct online business activities.

"Emperia Leadtracking" visitor tracking system: Exhibitors can download the software and, through their exclusive account, scan QR codes on-site to register visitors. After the exhibition, FIBO will compile data on visiting customers and all their information.

European Market Post-Pandemic:

All signs point to a market easing. Last year, the number of gym members in Europe increased by 1 million. The number of gyms in Europe also slightly increased. These are the results of the "European Health & Fitness Market Report 2022" conducted by Deloitte on behalf of EuropeActive. The report was published as part of FIBO in Cologne.

In 2021, a total of 19 major M&A transactions were completed, demonstrating investors' continued interest in the stock of traditional brick-and-mortar fitness companies. These transactions also highlight that club operators will continue to be at the core of the industry's ecosystem.

This year's EHFMR added an extensive chapter on the results of a dedicated large-scale EuropeActive consumer study conducted in January 2022 among 11,000 people in 19 countries. The results show that the industry is rapidly returning to normal as most restrictions on health and fitness clubs have been lifted.
