The Shandong, China Export Commodities Exhibition (Nigeria) is hosted by the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce and undertaken by Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd., with the support of the Nigerian Federal Government and Lagos State Government. It is an important avenue for Chinese companies to explore the African market and a good platform for Sino-African economic and trade cooperation. Exhibiting companies come from more than ten provinces and cities including Shandong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Henan, Jiangsu, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, and Guangdong. Attendees mainly come from ECOWAS countries, with a peak attendance of 156,300 people during the exhibition, including over 34,000 professional buyers.

The exhibition has been held annually since 2007. The exhibition is uniformly organized, displayed, and promoted, and has received numerous commendations from governments and trade associations at all levels, and has been consistently well-received by exhibitors and buyers. Many guests from the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture visited the exhibition and engaged in enthusiastic exchanges with exhibitors. Numerous international media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency, CGTN, NTA, Voice of Nigeria, Punch, The Guardian, Business Day, and The Sun, provided coverage of the exhibition.

Introduction to the Nigerian Market:
