Italy's automotive market in 2023 saw a prosperous year, with annual sales reaching 1.566 million units, an astonishing 19% year-on-year increase. By brand, although Fiat's market share reached 11.1%, its sales decreased by 2.5% year-on-year, selling 174,580 units. Volkswagen (VW) and Toyota performed strongly, with sales growing by 17.1% and 7.1% respectively, reaching 122,794 and 98,713 units. Dacia and Ford also held their ground, with sales increasing by 27.0% and 10.3% year-on-year, selling 85,568 and 81,742 units respectively.

IV. Past Reviews

Since its inception in the 1960s, AUTOPROMOTEC has been held biennially, alternating with the Essen Tire Show and the Cologne Tire Show in Germany. It has successfully held 29 editions and is one of the most influential tire, auto parts, and auto maintenance exhibitions in Europe. Despite the impact of the global pandemic, the 2022 exhibition area still reached 141,000 square meters, attracting 1,311 exhibitors from 47 countries and regions, and a total of 75,141 visitors.

From 2007, AUTOPROMOTEC has deepened its cooperation with the American trade association and carried out promotional activities at the SEMA Show. Through extensive promotion in North America, the exhibition attracted buyers from over 1,200 North American companies to visit and purchase.
