Exhibition Introduction:

The exhibition was founded in 1839, and is one of Australia's oldest and most influential comprehensive exhibitions, attracting over 500,000 professional buyers and visitors annually. Organized by the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of South Australia, the exhibition features a wide range of products including agricultural products, food and beverages, as well as household goods, textiles, toys, handicrafts, medical devices, yachts, automobiles, agricultural machinery, and more.

II. Exhibition Scope

1. Food & Beverages, Dairy Products, Agricultural Products and Value-added Agricultural Services.

2. Home Lifestyle Products: Home textiles, apparel and fabrics; home decor products; daily consumer goods; maternal and infant products, children's products (clothing, toys, etc.), family childcare products and stationery; outdoor leisure products, home health products; smart home and home security products, various small appliances, health and personal care tools, etc.

3. Consumer Electronics: Computers, computer technology and software, data protection and transmission, television technology, digital cameras and camcorders, multimedia, network technology, online services, telecommunications, entertainment electronics, lighting products, etc.

4. Gardening Supplies, Outdoor Products: Gardening tools, garden decorations, outdoor products, camping supplies, picnic supplies, etc.

5. Agricultural Machinery: Harvesters, rotary tillers, seeders, spray irrigators, tractors, etc.

6. New Energy Products: New energy vehicles, solar energy, etc.

III. Market Introduction

On the afternoon of September 2, 2024, Deputy Consul General Pi Lijun from the Chinese Consulate General in Adelaide and Minister Joe Szakacs from the South Australian Government's Department for Trade and Investment visited and surveyed the Shandong exhibition area at the 2024 Royal Adelaide Show, listening carefully to introductions about the exhibiting companies and product performance. Deputy Consul General Pi stated that Shandong Province and South Australia have maintained a friendly province-state relationship for 38 years, with close exchanges and cooperation continuing to show good momentum. He looks forward to further strengthening practical cooperation between the two sides in traditional areas such as agriculture and mining, as well as in green emerging economic sectors. Minister Joe Szakacs expressed that the state government highly values economic and trade cooperation with China, and the relevant products exhibited by Shandong enterprises have great market demand potential in Australia. He looks forward to and welcomes all enterprises to participate in the exhibition.

IV. Past Review

On August 31, 2024, the Royal Adelaide Show opened in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, our province's friendly state. In accordance with the consensus reached by the leaders of the two provinces/states, our company and the Provincial Department of Commerce organized ten enterprises from our province in the fields of agricultural machinery, clean energy and new energy, tires, fences, agricultural nets, plastic products, workwear, etc., to participate in the exhibition. On the afternoon of August 30, the "Adelaide Show Shandong Delegation and South Australian Enterprises Matching and Exchange Meeting," hosted by the Provincial Department of Commerce, was held at the Provincial Government's Trade and Economic Representative Office in Oceania. Our province's exhibiting enterprises engaged in matchmaking and exchange with key chambers of commerce in South Australia, including the China Chamber of Commerce, Australia-China Business Council, Shandong Chamber of Commerce, Australia-Asia Business Council, and Chinatown Association, as well as over twenty counterpart enterprises in South Australia.
