Exhibition Introduction
Latin America and the Caribbean account for over 6% of the global tire market (approximately 1.1 billion tires). Tire consumption in Latin America has increased by 30% over the past decade. In 2009, 19 million tires were used in the South American OEM market; 50 million tires were used in the aftermarket repair market. The US tire "safeguard case" has severely impacted the Chinese tire industry, and Chinese tire companies urgently need to find new markets in Latin America. Panama is a key location connecting North, Central, and South America. From Panama, you can easily reach any Caribbean country. Its strong regional radiation capability makes Panama's position in Latin America extremely important. For tire manufacturers and traders from various countries, Panama will be the best foothold if they want to enter the markets of Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The 2017 exhibition attracted 300 companies from 25 countries and 2500 buyers from 30 countries.
