Exhibition Introduction:

“Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City International Building Materials Exhibition VIETBULID” is the largest professional building materials exhibition in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The exhibition is jointly held by the Vietnam Ministry of Construction and the governments of various provinces and cities in Vietnam, with two sessions held annually in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Hanoi spring exhibition in March and Ho Chi Minh City autumn exhibition in September). Each exhibition attracts exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions around the world. The Hanoi spring exhibition has approximately 1,350 booths, while the Ho Chi Minh City autumn exhibition has approximately 2,250 booths. The exhibitions attract nearly 400,000 professional purchasers and end buyers to visit and trade.

According to surveys, the overall satisfaction rate of exhibitors is as high as 88%, and on average, about 53% of exhibitors register for the next exhibition immediately after the exhibition to secure their original booth locations. Due to the significant trading results, more than 100 Chinese exhibitors register for each exhibition, making it the largest and most popular foreign group among Vietnamese buyers.

Market Introduction:

Vietnam is a socialist country in Asia and is expected to become one of the fastest-growing economies in Asia. According to customs data, in May 2018, bilateral trade between China and Vietnam amounted to US$67.49 billion, a slight decrease of 0.6% month-on-month. Vietnam remains China's second-largest trading partner in ASEAN. China's exports to Vietnam reached US$51.45 billion, down 1.9% month-on-month; China's imports from Vietnam reached US$16.04 billion, up 3.7% month-on-month. In that month, China maintained a trade surplus with Vietnam, with a surplus of US$35.42 billion.
