Exhibition Introduction:

The India International Trade Fair is one of the largest trade fairs in Asia, held by the India Trade Promotion Organization. It has been inaugurated by the President or Prime Minister every year and is the preferred exhibition for business decision-makers, the press, industry, and foreign business delegations. It is known as “ India's Canton Fair” . Since 1981, it has been successfully held in New Delhi for 38 sessions, lasting two weeks, with an exhibition area of approximately 100,000 square meters. Exhibitors come from more than 40 countries, and an average of over 2,300 delegations from 92 countries attend each year, with nearly 200,000 professional visitors and over 5 million general visitors. The Chinese government attaches great importance to the positive role of this exhibition in promoting bilateral trade between China and India. During the exhibition every year, leaders from the Chinese Embassy in India visit the exhibition site to understand the participation of Chinese companies. In recent years, many Chinese companies have participated for many consecutive years, achieving significant results. The exhibition represents the development of Indian industry, technological progress, and the advancement of internationalization. It has become a barometer of market development and an indicator of the level of domestic and foreign trade in India.

In 2018, the China Pavilion had an exhibition area of 1980 square meters, with products covering machinery, new energy, household goods, textiles and clothing, home appliances, building materials and hardware, tires and auto parts, machinery and equipment, food, and chemicals. At this exhibition, the China Pavilion received special attention from local merchants, with many Indian visitors actively inquiring about the location of the China Pavilion and then heading straight there. 90% of exhibitors achieved their expected results and were very satisfied with the exhibition.

In recent years, the China Pavilion, as the largest international pavilion at the exhibition, with its neat and uniform standard booths, innovative special booths, and uniquely charming high-end exhibits, has attracted Indian and international merchants to conduct trade negotiations. All India Television, Delhi Television, and media outlets such as The Hindustan Times and The Times of India have reported on the China Pavilion, making China a major highlight of the exhibition year after year.
