The Cross-border Overseas Development Matching Conference for Weifang Food Enterprises was successfully held on the afternoon of May 29. Executives from more than 30 high-quality food manufacturers including Ruifu Oil & Fat, Sheng’an Food and Zhongji Group attended the event.
Packed with practical and valuable information, this efficient event targeted the full-chain demands of enterprises expanding overseas. Representatives from platforms and institutions including TikTok Shop, TikTok Shop officially-certified border warehouses, Google and Brightway International Exhibition delivered focused sharing sessions. They analyzed the current landscape of the Southeast Asian market, investment incentives and recruitment policies for food categories, cross-border logistics solutions, Google’s product ecosystem and the value of AI marketing, as well as key information about the 2026 Thailand Cross-border E-commerce Sourcing Fair, empowering Weifang food companies to deepen their presence in Southeast Asia.
During the matching session, platform operators, service providers and participating enterprises held in-depth face-to-face discussions. They offered on-site consultation and precise business matching covering platform entry cooperation, product selection adaptation, product compliance and operational planning. The event effectively smoothed supply-demand communication and built consensus on overseas expansion among all participants.
Leveraging our strengths in cross-border exhibition resources, our company highlighted the overall arrangements and participation benefits of the 2026 Thailand Cross-border E-commerce Sourcing Fair. Combined with consumption trends of food products and the layout of local supermarkets and e-commerce channels across Southeast Asia, we shared detailed insights covering exhibition product selection guidelines, on-site client development overseas and localized brand display solutions.
Drawing on our experience hosting overseas exhibitions and our extensive database of global buyers, we have built an offline physical matching channel for Weifang food enterprises to conduct on-site sales outreach and communicate directly with Southeast Asian purchasers. This helps companies break free from over-reliance on purely online operations, realize integrated development of online e-commerce and offline exhibition-based customer acquisition, and expand channels for Weifang specialty food products to enter Southeast Asian markets.
The successful holding of this matching conference marks a key initiative of the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Building on Weifang’s robust food industry advantages, the bureau actively embraces the emerging cross-border e-commerce track. By integrating high-quality industrial resources and facilitating in-person in-depth exchanges between suppliers and buyers, the conference established an efficient connection bridge linking platforms, enterprises and service providers, delivering multi-faceted support for food enterprises going global.
Moving forward, the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Commerce will continue to prioritize enterprises’ cross-border expansion needs. It will organize regular targeted matching events, deepen cooperation with international platforms, and continuously improve the cross-border e-commerce development ecosystem, helping more outstanding Weifang enterprises sail toward global markets.
