The 2015 AAPEX Show in Las Vegas, USA concluded successfully on November 5, 2015 at the Sands Expo Center!

The 2015 AAPEX Show (AAPEX is short for "The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo") in Las Vegas, USA, is co-hosted by the Automotive Parts Association of America (APAA), the Automotive Service Industry Association (ASIA), and the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA). Held annually in Las Vegas, the AAPEX Show brings together automotive parts users and aftermarket service providers from across North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East, showcasing the automotive aftermarket parts and maintenance supplies market. This is the largest automotive manufacturing trade show in the United States and is supported by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This year's show attracted nearly 6,000 exhibitors from around the world and over 80,000 professional visitors from the United States and other countries. Exhibitors hosted professional buyers from over 100 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Japan, and South Africa.

To guide provincial auto parts enterprises to seize opportunities and explore diversified international markets, with the strong support of the Provincial Department of Commerce and commerce bureaus at all levels, our company organized 22 auto parts enterprises from the province to participate in the exhibition, with a total exhibition area of 216 square meters (24 standard booths). At the exhibition site, brake disc companies from Laizhou and Longkou reached new supply agreements with old customers, and a new quick-acting vise was highly regarded. This year, due to the unfavorable overall environment, sluggish foreign trade, and the impact on overseas exhibitions, coupled with the fact that the American organizers divided the exhibits into sections this year, strictly controlling the area and number of booths for Chinese enterprises, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of allocated booths and a sharp decline in the number of participating enterprises. According to on-site statistics, the total number of Shandong enterprises participating in this exhibition was about 40, approximately half the number of the same period last year. However, compared to the year's exhibitions, the effect of the Las Vegas auto parts exhibition was still satisfactory, and most enterprises hoped to continue participating next year.

From the perspective of exhibits from our province's enterprises, the main products are brake discs and brake pads, and most enterprises engage in OEM, lacking their own brands, resulting in numerous similar products and fierce competition. It is recommended that enterprises, based on their existing market foundation, continuously reform and innovate their products, increase their R&D efforts, and continue to expand the scale of emerging markets. Enterprises should adopt multi-variety product R&D, strengthen inter-enterprise cooperation and product complementarity, improve the production and R&D capabilities of automotive parts enterprises for high value-added and high-tech products, and achieve breakthroughs and innovations in key products and key technologies. At the same time, it is recommended that relevant provincial authorities actively promote cooperation within the automotive parts industry, achieve complementary advantages, pursue differentiated operations, develop their own brands, reduce export price wars, formulate unified policies, regulate the market, and adjust market order. It is also recommended that relevant provincial authorities create a good development platform for enterprises in terms of policies and financial resources, and support enterprises in establishing their own brands.

Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd. has organized auto parts enterprises from our province to participate in the AAPEX Show in Las Vegas, USA for 10 consecutive years from 2006 to 2015, during which a lot of hard work has been put into investment promotion and exhibition organization to achieve the current scale and effect. This year, due to the impact of the overall environment, the popularity of the exhibition was lower than in previous years; however, due to our company's consistent proactive service, we have received unanimous recognition from all exhibitors, and our company will continue to organize enterprises to participate in the AAPEX Show in Las Vegas next year.

In terms of overseas reception, our company provides high-quality services to exhibitors, arranging overseas food, accommodation, and transportation according to the standards of high-end business groups, ensuring the smooth and convenient work and life of participants, and providing full logistical support for exhibitors, which has been unanimously recognized and praised by exhibitors. Our company will carefully summarize this AAPEX Show in Las Vegas and learn from good experiences to ensure that the work of the next exhibition will be better and more comprehensive.

Facing the relatively stable auto parts market in North America, as a unit in Shandong Province directly authorized by the Ministry of Commerce to organize overseas exhibitions, our company will continue to strive to open up the North American market for numerous auto parts enterprises in Shandong Province and build a good platform for promotion and sales. With the strong support of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, our company will continue to organize more auto parts enterprises to participate in this exhibition next year. To further deepen the exploration of international markets, expand foreign trade export channels, and provide a good trade service platform for them, and to provide sufficient logistical support for the enterprises' participation in the exhibition, our company will increase its efforts next year to explore emerging markets and exhibition markets along the Belt and Road.

Here, we would like to express our special thanks to all leaders and new and old customers for their strong support for our company's auto parts project exhibition work!

Zhenghe Exhibition visited Nigerian automotive technology and other industry associations to promote cooperation on the 2025 Nigeria (Lagos) China Goods Expo.

From January 3rd to 6th, 2025, representatives of Zhenghe Exhibition's overseas staff successively visited the secretariat of the Nigerian Automotive Technicians Association (NATA), the Amalgamated Union of Automobile Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON), and the Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria (MOMTAN). This visit primarily focused on in-depth discussions and exchanges regarding cooperation for the 2025 Nigeria (Lagos) China Commodities Fair. During the meetings, representatives of Zhenghe Exhibition's overseas staff introduced the basic situation of the Nigeria (Lagos) China Commodities Fair to the heads of the business associations. The heads of the various business associations acknowledged the significant achievements made by the exhibition in recent years. During the discussions, the three industry association leaders provided detailed information about their respective associations. As leaders and promoters of associations related to the automotive industry in Nigeria, these three associations have a wide influence in Nigeria and even West Africa. Against the backdrop of continuously deepening and upgrading China-Africa cooperation, they expressed high expectations for actively promoting trade cooperation between Nigeria and China in the automotive industry. The heads of the associations also stated their willingness to work with Zhenghe International Exhibition to jointly promote the continuous development of the Nigeria (Lagos) China Commodities Fair, uniformly organize member units to participate in the exhibition, and conduct one-on-one matchmaking discussions with Chinese exhibitors. As Africa's second-largest economy and most populous country, Nigeria has a huge demand for automotive and auto parts products, largely relying on imports. In Nigeria, over 90% of Nigerians tend to choose 'tokunbo' (used cars), which makes the 'tokunbo' distribution business very profitable in Nigeria. With the Nigerian government relaxing age restrictions on imported used cars, the volume of used car imports will further increase. Consequently, the auto parts market, both upstream and downstream of Nigeria's used car industry chain, will also see more opportunities. After years of operation by Chinese automakers, Chinese cars have established considerable 'prestige' in Nigeria. At the same time, the scarcity of local car repair outlets and the high cost of spare parts in Nigeria also indicate immense potential for Chinese auto parts exports to the Nigerian market.
