2018 India International Trade Fair Post-Exhibition Reflections: A Foreign Land, Sharing Glory!
LEAD
Is there a country
that you only know its passion, splendor, mystery, and flamboyance when you get close to it?
Is there a city
that is crowded, noisy, crazy, yet people enjoy being there?
Is there an exhibition
where exhibits are all-encompassing, and the booths are bustling with visitors?
There is such a country,
a city,
an exhibition.
We face the world, with our hearts towards China,
sharing glory!
Let us walk into
the 2018 India International Trade Fair!

It must be the best reward for effort
The 2018 India International Trade Fair has quietly drawn to a close. The fatigue from more than ten days of traveling in a foreign country is still visible on the faces of our returning team leaders. At this very moment, we have successively received intentions from participating companies to re-register for next year's exhibition, which is certainly the best reward for all the efforts!

The India International Trade Fair is one of Asia's largest trade fairs, organized by the Indian government. It has always been inaugurated by the Indian President or Prime Minister and is the preferred exhibition for corporate decision-makers, the press, industry, and foreign business delegations, hailed as "India's Canton Fair."
Opening Ceremony

In recent years, the Chinese exhibition area, as the largest international section, coupled with the national emphasis on the exhibition's positive role in promoting Sino-Indian bilateral trade, has seen a growing trend in the number of Chinese exhibitors at each session. Many companies that have participated for years have successfully developed local trade relationships. In this year's exhibition, the negotiation atmosphere was good, and many companies even reached cooperation intentions on site.

Epilogue:
In 2017, Sino-Indian bilateral trade reached a record high of 84.44 billion US dollars. Among them, imports from China increased by 14.59% to 68.1 billion US dollars. India has now become the 7th largest export destination for Chinese goods globally, and simultaneously ranks 24th among destinations for Chinese imported goods.
In March 2018, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry jointly held a special promotion event for the China International Import Expo and a "China-India Trade Project Signing Ceremony" in New Delhi. More than 120 people from relevant government departments, industry associations, and enterprise representatives from both sides participated in the event. The total signing amount for this event was 2.368 billion US dollars, involving over twenty Chinese enterprises in various fields such as agriculture, light industry, textiles, medicine, chemicals, and minerals, all of which are key enterprises in their respective industries in China, specifically traveling to India for trade matchmaking.
The complementarity of China-India trade relations is gradually expanding, which will leave more opportunities for Chinese enterprises coveting the Indian market. In this unfamiliar country, we are here to share the glory with you!
