May 25, 2018, the global roadshow (Moscow Station) of Shandong Export Food and Agricultural Products Quality Safety Demonstration Province was successfully held in Moscow. Zhao Qiuyan, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Lu Wei, Deputy Director-General of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, delivered a keynote speech titled "Jointly Promoting Shandong Province-Russia Food and Agricultural Products Trade Cooperation to a New Level". Nearly 100 Russian food and agricultural product import and export enterprises, commercial, agricultural, and marine fisheries departments from 14 cities in Shandong, and governments of counties (cities, districts) such as Shouguang, Juxian, and Yanggu, as well as representatives from nearly 49 food and agricultural product import and export enterprises, daily consumer goods purchasing enterprises, and cross-border e-commerce enterprises, totaling more than 200 people, attended the meeting.

In his keynote speech, Lu Wei briefly introduced the economic and social development of Shandong Province, highlighted the Shandong New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion Comprehensive Experimental Zone, and proposed six measures to accelerate the promotion of agricultural product trade cooperation between Shandong Province and Russia.

During the roadshow, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tyumen Oblast Government respectively introduced Russia's economic and social development and trade and investment policies in the agricultural sector; Qingdao Customs introduced China's food and agricultural product import policies, while the Commerce Bureaus of Yantai and Zibo cities and the Shouguang City Government presented the local agricultural product production, trade, and quality safety development; Balong Group introduced the import situation of the Zhonglian Wanmao City platform; Shandong Cross-border E-commerce Association and Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology signed a cooperation agreement on import and export trade with Russia and cross-border e-commerce training. Nearly 100 Russian food and agricultural product import and export enterprises conducted 170 rounds of "one-on-one" negotiations with nearly 49 Shandong enterprises.
