2019 On the afternoon of March 27, 2019, the Shandong Province (Tokyo) Investment Cooperation Exchange Conference was held in Tokyo, Japan. This event was hosted by the People's Government of Shandong Province, organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, and co-organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Japan-China Economic Association, and the Japan International Trade Promotion Association. The Chinese Embassy in Japan, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Mizuho Financial Group, and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group provided support. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Shandong Province, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech.

At the exchange conference, addresses were given by Masayoshi Takamura, Supreme Advisor of the Japan-China Friendship Parliamentarians' League and former Vice President of the Liberal Democratic Party; Tadashi Iizawa, Chairman of the Japan-China Economic Association; Song Yaoming, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Japan; and Osamu Mizui, Director of JETRO. The Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission promoted key areas of cooperation with Japan in the "Top Ten" industrial clusters of the major project for transforming new and old kinetic energy. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced its "E-factory intelligent manufacturing" project, and Shandong Expressway Group promoted the "Qilu" Eurasian railway. Fifteen key investment projects were signed by both sides. Officials from 16 cities across the province and relevant provincial departments, as well as representatives from some major provincial enterprises and well-known private enterprises, attended the conference. Representatives from Japanese companies such as Asahi Glass, Sumitomo Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, Itochu Corporation, Mitsui & Co., Marubeni Corporation, Toshiba, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Chemical, Fujitsu, and NEC were also present. Zhenghe Exhibition visited Nigerian automotive technology and other industry associations to promote cooperation on the 2025 Nigeria (Lagos) China Goods Expo.

From January 3rd to 6th, 2025, representatives of Zhenghe Exhibition's overseas staff successively visited the secretariat of the Nigerian Automotive Technicians Association (NATA), the Amalgamated Union of Automobile Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON), and the Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria (MOMTAN).
