The Shandong Export Food and Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Demonstration Province Global Roadshow was successfully held in Africa

From September 2nd to 12th, 2019, Lv Wei, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, led a Shandong economic and trade delegation to visit South Africa, Tanzania, and Kenya. Relevant provincial units including the Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Qingdao Customs, and the Shandong Branch of Bank of China, as well as governments and commerce departments from 12 cities including Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, and Jining, nearly 30 companies exporting agricultural supplies, food processing machinery, and agricultural equipment, and nearly 60 companies participating in the Kenya Shandong Commodity Exhibition participated in related activities.

On September 3rd, a roadshow event for the Shandong Export Food and Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Demonstration Province was held in Johannesburg (South Africa); on September 5th, a similar event was held in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania); and on September 11th, another event was held in Nairobi (Kenya). Deputy Director Lv Wei gave keynote speeches at each event, introducing the economic and social development of Shandong Province and the construction of the export food and agricultural products quality and safety demonstration province. He also suggested measures to expand import and export trade of "large agriculture" (including food and agricultural products, agricultural supplies, and agricultural equipment) between Shandong and South Africa, and promoted the 30th China-ASEAN Expo.

The delegation reached a consensus with the economic and commercial offices of the Chinese embassies in the three countries, the consulates general in Johannesburg and Zanzibar, and the ministries of trade, industry, and agriculture of the three countries on strengthening agricultural technology cooperation, addressing trade frictions, and building a trade public service platform. This expanded the awareness and reputation of the export food and agricultural products quality and safety demonstration province in Africa.

The delegation held six roadshow events for the export food and agricultural products quality and safety demonstration province in Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Narok County, Nakuru County, and Nairobi, conducting one-on-one talks with approximately 600 companies from the three countries.

Zhenghe Exhibition visited Nigerian automotive technology and other industry associations to promote cooperation on the 2025 Nigeria (Lagos) China Goods Expo.

From January 3rd to 6th, 2025, representatives of Zhenghe Exhibition's overseas staff successively visited the secretariat of the Nigerian Automotive Technicians Association (NATA), the Amalgamated Union of Automobile Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON), and the Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria (MOMTAN).
