The South Australia-Qingdao Trade and Investment Cooperation Symposium and the South Australia-Shandong Trade and Investment Matchmaking Event were respectively held in the two cities of Qingdao and Jinan.

South Australia and Shandong Province are friendly sister states, and Qingdao City and Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, are sister cities. Since establishing friendly relations, Qingdao City has had frequent exchanges and extensive cooperation with South Australia and Adelaide. On May 10, the South Australia-Qingdao Trade and Investment Cooperation Symposium was successfully held in Qingdao, with talks and matchmaking sessions focusing on areas such as agricultural products, seafood, wine, medical health, infrastructure, and mining.



On the morning of May 12, the South Australia-Shandong Trade and Investment Matchmaking Meeting was held at the Shandong Building. South Australia's Minister for Investment and Trade, Mr. Stephen Wade, led a delegation of more than 40 representatives from South Australian companies to Shandong to discuss investment and seek Chinese partners.


On that day, representatives from various industries in South Australia took turns introducing their companies, products, and cooperation advantages to Shandong enterprises. 70 representatives from South Australian companies and institutions and 140 representatives from Shandong government and enterprises held talks and matchmaking sessions focusing on agricultural products, seafood, wine, medical health, infrastructure, and mining.
