03-11
Exhibition Overview:
The Lagos International Trade Fair began in 1981 and has been held annually since 1986, running for 30 consecutive years. Organized by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and supported by the Nigerian Federal Government and Lagos State Government, the fair attracts exhibitors from nearly 20 countries across Africa, Europe, America, and Asia. Attendees primarily come from ECOWAS countries. Currently, it is the largest and most influential trade fair in West Africa, serving as an important platform for economic and trade cooperation and exchange in Africa.
Since 2002, Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd. has successfully organized the participation of Chinese enterprises for many years. Starting in 2007, a China Pavilion was established, providing unified organization, exhibition design, and promotion, achieving excellent results. The China Pavilion has been awarded the "Largest Foreign Exhibitor" and "Best Foreign Exhibition Organizer" awards by the organizer for consecutive years. To help enterprises further expand into the African market, Shandong Zhenghe International Exhibition Co., Ltd. continues to organize the 2018 Nigeria (Lagos) China Goods Exhibition, showcasing and promoting Chinese goods within the Lagos International Trade Fair as a "sub-exhibition".

Introduction to the Nigerian Market
◆ With a population of 180 million, it is the most populous country in Africa, possessing a huge consumer market.
◆ As a member of OPEC, it has the largest oil reserves and production in Africa and is one of the world's top five liquefied natural gas exporters. It has strong payment capacity and strong market purchasing power.
◆ It is Africa's largest economy and the largest market in West Africa, leading regional integration. The World Bank and other authoritative economic assessment institutions are optimistic about its economic development, making it the right time to enter the Nigerian market.
◆ Rich in agricultural, forestry, and mineral resources, but with underdeveloped infrastructure and a weak manufacturing base. The government is improving infrastructure, and high-quality and inexpensive Chinese goods are very popular locally. At the same time, the Nigerian government encourages Chinese companies to import Nigerian agricultural, forestry, and mineral products.
◆ Maritime trade accounts for nearly 70% of West Africa's total trade. 80% of Nigeria's commercial activities are concentrated in Lagos. As Nigeria's economic, financial, industrial, and logistics center, Lagos is the best springboard for companies to enter the West African market.
