II. Exhibition Introduction

AAPEX is the abbreviation for "The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo," co-hosted by Auto Care Association, The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), and Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). It is held annually at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

AAPEX is one of the world's largest, most effective, and renowned professional exhibitions for the automotive aftermarket, bringing together automotive parts users, aftermarket service providers, traders, and other industry professionals from North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and other regions. According to official statistics, in 2022, 1,407 companies from 35 countries and regions participated, with approximately 3,500 booths, attracting 45,550 professional buyers from 121 countries and regions to visit and purchase.

III. Market Analysis

The United States is the largest destination country for China's auto parts exports. In 2023, the U.S. remained the top destination market for China's automotive parts and accessories exports, with an export value exceeding the sum of Japan, South Korea, and Mexico, reaching 17.475 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 33.3%. The U.S. has the largest car parc and is the second-largest new car sales market by annual volume, only trailing China. The market has a long history of development, and the entire industry chain is highly developed. However, over the past 20 years, due to stagnant new car demand, intensified market competition, and increasingly stringent regulations, traditional U.S. automakers have declined, failing to provide positive investment returns to shareholders. In contrast, the automotive aftermarket has flourished, with significant stock price increases for a number of auto sales and service companies, and large aftermarket parts retail and repair service chains seeing their stock prices surge over 30 times in the past 20 years. In 2021, the U.S. vehicle parc was 290 million vehicles, with the current population of 326.77 million, almost reaching one car per person. The average vehicle age is 12 years, a year-on-year increase of 0.6 years. General Motors, Ford, and Toyota are the top three manufacturers by vehicle parc. Since 2020, prices for automobiles and their derivatives in the U.S. have cumulatively increased by 55%-68%. In the U.S., the automotive aftermarket is valued at 405 billion, ranking as the third-largest industry in the U.S. market. The U.S. market has 538,000 repair and retail outlets, operating over 280 million cars and trucks, with an average of more than one vehicle per registered driver. In the automotive repair sector, 80% of the business is completed by third-party shops, with only 20% being DIY by vehicle owners; 70% of the business is handled by independent aftermarket shops, with only 30% conducted at 4S dealerships, the latter mostly under insurance scenarios.

V. Registration Method

(I) Registration: Please fill out the exhibition application form (see attachment) for registration, so that our company can carry out domestic and overseas liaison and publicity and register in the exhibition catalog. Within one week of registration, please remit the exhibition deposit of RMB 20,000 to our company's account and send the remittance slip to us for confirmation of registration.

(II) Booth Confirmation: Our company will reserve the booth for exhibitors upon receipt of the exhibition deposit. The deposit will be fully refunded two months after the exhibition. If a registered company cancels its participation for its own reasons, the deposit will not be refunded.
