Exhibition Introduction:

The 12th Busan International Machinery Exhibition BUTECH 2025 is jointly organized by Busan Metropolitan City, Busan Machinery Industry Cooperative, and Busan Gyeongnam Mold Industry Cooperative. It is expected to attract over 550 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, with 1900 booths. Exhibiting companies come from China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Germany, Japan, Russia, France, the United States, Dubai, Turkey, and other countries.

BUTECH is a representative machinery industry exhibition in Northeast Asia. To date, BUTECH has successfully held 11 sessions and has gradually developed into a leading Korean exhibition. Now, BUTECH has expanded beyond Korea, becoming an international machinery industry event for Southeast Asia. It not only provides companies with valuable trade opportunities but also serves as a business exchange platform.

III. Market Introduction

Globally, the machinery industry is a core basic industry supporting the overall industry. It is a technology industry and capital-intensive industry that promotes economic growth and creates jobs. The South Korean machinery industry is no exception. Busan, Ulsan, and Changwon are important machinery industry bases in the southeastern industrial zone of South Korea, accounting for 53% of South Korea's total machinery industrial output. The machinery industry is the core foundation supporting South Korea's overall industry, becoming a powerful engine driving South Korea's economic growth. Busan's machinery product output accounts for 55% of South Korea's overall machinery industry. More than 70,000 machinery and related companies are located in and around Busan, making it the largest distribution center for machinery and machinery processing industries in South Korea.

IV. Review of Previous Sessions

The 2023 Busan International Machinery Exhibition was successfully held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center, covering an area of 35,000㎡ with 1800 booths. The exhibition promoted the integration of South Korea's IT technology and machinery by showcasing cutting-edge machinery equipment, focusing on advanced CNC machine tools, high-end laser cutting and welding machinery, high-end machinery processing equipment, smart factory solutions, robots, CNC machine tool components, new material applications, and 3D printers. The organizing committee specially invited institutions from Germany, the United States, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Peru, China, Turkey, and Finland to hold various online matchmaking and negotiation meetings.
