Exhibition Overview:

The Dubai Fitness Show is organized by the Universal Muscle Fitness Federation (UMFF), supported by the UAE Fitness Federation, and will be held concurrently with the IFBB amateur championship. A high-end industry summit and professional forum will also be held during the exhibition.

Dubai is known as the "Hong Kong of the Middle East," the financial and economic center of the UAE. With its free and open economic policies and complete infrastructure, it has rapidly become a transportation hub and the largest cargo distribution center in the Middle East. Through Dubai, goods can be resold to the Gulf region, Russia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean. Currently, Chinese products are favored by buyers in the Middle East due to their wide variety, moderate grades, complete specifications, and reasonable prices. Therefore, the Middle East market has enormous development potential. Dubai, with its superior conditions, has become the central hub for import and export trade in the Middle East, radiating to Asia, Europe, and Africa, covering a population of 1.2 billion.

The UAE is one of the three largest fitness markets in the Middle East, with an annual market share of approximately 250 million dirhams, or about US$100 million. The UAE has one of the most health-conscious and wealthiest populations in the world. Citizens have close ties with Western countries, a high English proficiency rate, and a large number of Europeans and Americans living in Dubai for extended periods, all of which provide a promising business environment for the fitness and bodybuilding industry. High disposable income, tax-free policies, and the emerging Miami Beach culture have laid a solid foundation for the development of fitness and bodybuilding in Dubai, the trade capital of the UAE.

In terms of geographical location, Dubai has convenient and well-connected transportation, making it the most popular destination in the Middle East. Surrounding cities such as Kuwait City, Doha, Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh, and Muscat are all ranked among the top 20 wealthiest regions in the world. Approximately 1 million affluent people from these regions are concentrated around the Dubai Fitness Show venue.

The first Dubai Muscle Show in 2016 was a resounding success, receiving support and publicity from 123 media outlets. A total of 100 brands from 16 countries participated, and the number of visitors exceeded 10,000. In 2017, the Dubai Fitness Show will be moved to the Dubai World Trade Centre. Building on the success of the first show with over 10,000 visitors, the organizers will attract more professional visitors to attend and conduct business.
