Exhibition Introduction:

The India Mumbai International Industrial Automation Exhibition, first held in 2002, has been running for over a decade and is now more mature and comprehensive in its services. Each year, it attracts numerous professional visitors from around the world, with participation increasing year by year. It is the only Asian platform showcasing a full range of automation technologies, instrumentation, and services. The organizer publishes an industry magazine and conducts large-scale local publicity.

The India Industrial Automation Expo was the first large-scale exhibition specializing in automation, based in India and radiating to surrounding South Asian and Southeast Asian countries and regions. In 2017, there were 870 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors, including more than 70 Chinese exhibitors.

Market Analysis:

India is a member of the BRICS nations and the G20, with a population of approximately 1.2 billion. In recent years, its economy has grown rapidly, performing impressively during the recent economic crisis and becoming a rising force in global economic recovery. India's textile, food, precision instrument, automotive, software manufacturing, aerospace, and other industries are developing rapidly. Since the reforms of the 1990s, India has achieved remarkable success, becoming, along with China, an important engine for economic development in Asia and the world.

According to statistics from the Indian Business Information Agency and the Indian Ministry of Commerce, from January to April 2017, India's import and export volume reached US$245.74 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.9%. Exports totaled US$101.21 billion, up 17.9%, while imports reached US$144.53 billion, up 32.2%. The trade deficit was US$43.32 billion, an increase of 84.7%. By April, China was India's fifth largest export destination and largest import source. The reason for this may be the timely shift in India's industrialization path, which has propelled India onto the fast track of economic development. China and India's comparative advantages are concentrated in labor-intensive products, resulting in a certain degree of competition.
