Exhibition Introduction:

bauma, the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment in Munich, Germany, is the world's largest and most influential professional exhibition in the construction machinery, building material machinery, and mining machinery industries. It is held every three years in Munich, Germany. Since its inception in 1954, the exhibition has been successfully held for 31 editions, bringing together elites and experts from the construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles, and construction equipment industries worldwide, presenting important industry innovations and information. The exhibition integrates technology, trade, information, and technical cooperation. The exhibition area is expected to exceed 605,000 square meters, and the number of visitors will exceed 600,000. The exhibition organizer invites mining technology/management/trade personnel from Germany and Europe to participate. In addition to technical academic exchanges, the invited professional buyers ensure the trade results of the exhibition.

Exhibition Review:

　At the 31st International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment (bauma 2016) held in April 2016 in Munich, Germany, the total exhibition area reached a record 605,000 square meters, surpassing the previous edition's 575,000 square meters. There were 3,423 exhibitors from 58 countries, an increase of 271 exhibitors or 8.6% from the previous edition, including 2,076 foreign companies and 1,347 German companies. The number of visitors from over 200 countries also reached a record 580,000, 40% of whom were international visitors. There were 1,423 representatives and media journalists from 49 countries. 323 Chinese exhibitors participated, an increase of 43 companies or 15% from the previous edition, with a net exhibition area of approximately 27,000 square meters, making it the second largest international exhibition group after Italy's 477 exhibitors. The exhibition scale of the "China Pavilion" at bauma has progressively upgraded, expanding the influence of Chinese enterprises in the international market, enhancing the competitiveness of national brand products, and forming a collective advantage for China's construction machinery industry.

At the last exhibition, over a hundred domestic industry leaders such as XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, Liugong, Lingong, Beijing CSR Times, Sunward Intelligent, Shantui, XGMA, Tietuo, Fuwei Heavy Industry participated, showcasing the prowess of China's machinery industry. Foreign exhibitors included Caterpillar, Komatsu Heavy Industries, Hitachi, Doosan, Hyundai, Kubota, Wirtgen, Liebherr, Manitowoc, Case, and other companies.
