The Russia International Food, Drink and Ingredients Exhibition is a leading international exhibition in the Russian, Central Asian, and Eastern European markets, and is the most influential exhibition in the food and beverage industry in Russia and Eastern Europe. Organized by the UK's ITE Group, since its inception in 1992, it has successfully held 26 sessions, becoming a must-attend event for professionals in the Russian food industry. The exhibition's scale and influence have increased year by year, with new halls continuously being added. Distributors, wholesalers, importers, retailers, and hospitality buyers, among other Russian food industry professionals, use this exhibition as an important platform for sourcing products and seeking trade partners.

Market Analysis:

With Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization, it has become a major consumer market in Eastern Europe, with consumption levels rising year by year. However, due to its unique geographical environment and climate, food and agricultural products are scarce and cannot be self-sufficient, mainly relying on imports. As a major food exporting country, China's product quality and prices are gradually being recognized and supported by Russia and Eastern Europe, and food has become one of the major export products to Russia. The increasingly frequent bilateral trade and business exchanges between China and Russia, and the continuous recovery of the Russian and Eastern European economies, will bring more business opportunities for Chinese enterprises. We hope that enterprises interested in expanding the Eastern European market will seize the opportunity and actively register. In the past ten years or so, the production of major food products in Russia, such as bread, meat, milk, eggs, and animal oils, has dropped significantly, especially the production of meat and meat products, with a clear increase in import demand. At the same time, due to natural conditions, the variety and yield of vegetables and fruits are not high, and large quantities need to be imported from abroad every year. Russia imports a large number of agricultural products, including sugar and sweeteners, fruits, meat, vegetables, fish, and seafood. Among them, in terms of the proportion of import volume in consumption volume, the highest is sugar and sweeteners at 75.5%, followed by rice at 60.5%, and other products with higher proportions include fruits at 52.2%, fish and seafood at 38.1%, meat at 29.9%, and vegetables at 11.7%. With the further development of the Russian economy and the updating of residents' consumption concepts, the demand for new foods such as functional foods, ready-to-eat foods, and baby foods is increasing. In addition, its catering market is developing rapidly, and it shows a strong purchasing power even during economic crises.
