Exhibition Introduction

This exhibition is the largest international food fair in Germany, jointly organized by Koelnmesse and the German Federal Retail Association. In 2017, 6777 companies from 98 countries participated, with a total exhibition area of 284,000 square meters. Among them, 86% of the exhibitors were from overseas (409 Chinese exhibitors ranked third). Visitors came from 187 countries worldwide, including retail, industry, public catering, importers, service industries, and crafts, totaling 160,000 people, with 62% of visitors from overseas. Professional visitors are an important factor in the success of this exhibition. In addition to German and international retail giants, experts and decision-makers from the food service and catering industries also attended the exhibition. Anuga is only open to professional visitors, and the level of visitors is higher than all other similar exhibitions. It not only showcases products and needs in the food and beverage industry but also highlights the theme of the exhibition and holds related supporting activities.
