"2025 Dialogue between Shandong and Industrial Ecosystem Partners of Multinational Corporations" Held Successfully in Shanghai

The 2025 Dialogue between Shandong and Industrial Ecosystem Partners of Multinational Corporations took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on November 6. A supporting event of the 8th China International Import Expo, the dialogue was hosted by the People’s Government of Shandong Province under the theme "Invest in Shandong, Win a Shared Future". Centered on industrial ecosystem cooperation, it drew more than 60 foreign chambers of commerce, Fortune Global 500 multinationals and industry-leading enterprises.
Sheng Qiuping, Vice Minister of Commerce; Song Junji, Vice Governor of Shandong Province; and Yang Jun, Vice President of Bank of China attended the event and delivered speeches. Representatives from chambers of commerce and multinational corporations including Louis Dreyfus, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Hexagon, Emerson and Dow delivered keynote remarks in sequence. Municipal authorities of Qingdao, Zibo, Yantai, Jining, Weihai and Binzhou presented their local industrial ecosystems. Executives from domestic and overseas enterprises such as Medtronic, Baker Hughes, IBM, Ant Digital Technologies and Weiqiao Group held in-depth panel discussions themed "AI Plus Manufacturing: Industrial Large Models Driving New Transformations of Industrial Ecosystems".
A total of 25 key cooperation projects were signed on site. Among them were 20 trade projects with an aggregate import and export volume of approximately USD 5.84 billion, covering energy, mineral resources, agricultural products, electromechanical equipment and other commodities; 5 investment projects with total investment of around USD 290 million, involving new energy and new materials, high-end equipment, medical care and wellness sectors.
The event was attended by officials from relevant Shandong provincial departments, central institutions stationed in Shandong, governments and commerce authorities of all 16 prefecture-level cities in Shandong, leaders of provincial state-owned enterprises, as well as representatives of enterprises from inside and outside the province.
