According to a notice from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs on April 18, as announced on the website of the Chinese Embassy in India, foreign nationals in India whose regular Indian visas, e-visas, or stay visas expired between February 1 and May 3, 2020, and who were unable to leave India due to the epidemic, may apply online before May 3 to extend their visas to May 17, 2020, and will be exempted from penalties for visa overstay.
The Chinese Embassy in India reminds all Chinese citizens in India to pay attention to the above visa regulations, check the validity of their Indian visas, and cooperate actively.
