Exhibition Overview:

The exhibition is organized by Groupe Exposium, the leading exhibition group in France and one of the top ten exhibition groups in the world, organizing nearly 60 professional exhibitions annually. Established in 1964, SIAL Paris is a biennial event with over 50 years of history. SIAL Paris alternates annually with Anuga in Germany, making them the largest food industry events in Europe and worldwide. The exhibition covers 215,000 square meters and features 19 product categories, encompassing almost all products in the industry.

Review of the Previous Session:

At the 2016 exhibition, 7020 exhibitors from 109 countries gathered, representing leading companies in the global food industry. 155,700 visitors attended, with over 70% coming from outside France, mostly professional buyers from the food industry. The exhibition covered 200,000 square meters, with 8 halls: Halls 1, 2, 3, 4, and 8 were national and regional pavilions, while Halls 5, 6, and 7 were professional halls divided into 19 product sections. The organizer set up 15 different types of food-themed displays and discussion areas throughout the exhibition. Over 250 discussions were held during the exhibition, facilitating communication and exchange among industry professionals from various countries.

Food: Semi-finished foods, ingredients and additives, canned foods, fine foods, fruits, vegetables, meat and cured meats, health foods, organic products, seafood, nutritional foods and baby food, dairy and eggs, sweets, frozen foods, ready-to-eat foods, groceries.

Non-food: Food machinery, kitchenware, food packaging, etc.
